General Return Policy
Most new, unopened items sold by BC Supply can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please note that custom orders and items specified as non-returnable in the Return Policy Exceptions below are not eligible for return.
- Proof of Purchase: Returns with valid proof of purchase will be refunded to the original form of payment.
- Packaging & Condition: Products must be returned in their original packaging and in good, resalable condition to qualify for a full refund.
- Return Limit: Returns cannot exceed $1,000.
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee may apply unless the item is defective, damaged, or returned due to an error on our part.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are refundable if the return is due to an error by BC Supply.
How to Place a Return
To initiate a return, please contact Customer Service and have the following information ready:
- Order or Invoice Number
- Item Number and Quantity to Return
- Reason for Return
Return Policy Exceptions
Damaged, Defective, or Incomplete Orders
- Inspect all items upon delivery. Report any damaged items or shortages within 3 business days.
- If an item is lost or damaged in transit, BC Supply assumes responsibility for filing claims.
Special Handling Products
Some items, due to safety and handling concerns, are non-returnable:
- Custom Products (e.g., paint, blinds, or other made-to-order items)
- Special Order Products
- Hazardous Materials (e.g., items using flammable liquids or gases)
Products with Shorter Return Periods
The following items must be returned within 15 days:
- Perishable or Expiring Products (e.g., cleaning products, skin care, safety supplies)
- Seasonal Items (e.g., ice melt, pool care products)
Non-Returnable Items
- Items using flammable liquids or gases cannot be physically returned. Customers should dispose of these items per local regulations.
- Custom-made paint cannot be returned unless defective or mixed incorrectly. Unopened pre-mixed paint can be returned according to standard policy.
Special Orders
Special orders, including custom or configured products, are non-returnable unless damaged or defective on arrival.
All returns must be pre-approved by Customer Service, with a return authorization provided. Products should be inspected upon delivery, and any issues reported within the specified timeframes to ensure eligibility for return.
Refund
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the refund approval or rejection. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
